WELCOME & THANK YOU for visiting the Horizons at Harley Student Enrichment Program website. Since 1995 Horizons at Harley has been serving low-income,
City of Rochester children - grades K - 8th.
Employing an experiential model of teaching focused on reading, writing, and math - enhanced with "specials" such as: music, art, drama, swimming, gardening, cooking, tennis, health/physical education lessons, and age-appropriate and content related field trips - our students thrive in experiencing summer learning while avoiding the typical summer brain drain and the associated "achievement gap" that develops over the years. On average our students realize a three- month increase in reading each summer, have a 96% attendance rate and statistics show that if they attend for 4 or 5 years that 95% of them will graduate from high school.
